Position Summary

As a Cocoa Processing Innovation Intern, you will be developing new products based on innovative cocoa processing together with cocoa experts, product developers and our chemistry and physics laboratories.

A Day in the Life of a Cocoa Processing Innovation Intern
  • Work in the cocoa process lab to innovate and generate prototypes based on cocoa powder
  • Perform product characterization (e.g. flavor & chemical analysis)
  • Coordinate with sensory and physical laboratories to ensure comprehensive food prototype characterization
  • Interpret and consolidate experimental results in order to provide recommendations for new product development

What Will Make You Successful
  • Currently studying a Master’s Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry or related field
  • Previous experience, ideally in a laboratory or food science environment
  • Experience and/or knowledge in flavor aroma would be an advantage
  • Interest in analytics
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Fluent in English and/or in French
