Rest of the World country cluster includes all global markets other than Europe & North America. The incumbent will be in charge to expand our business in EU and RoW.Position SummaryThe Commercial Director- Europe & RoW will focus on profitable Top Line (revenues) generation and growth through Sintetica’s country teams (B2C) or through partners (B2B), either current or new partners to be progressively selected. The incumbent will remain well aligned with strategic company goals and with the rest of Commercial Division.The Commercial Director-Europe & RoW is a dynamic leader with in-depth experience in sales & marketing of pharmaceutical products; he/she is able to lead, coach and develop commercial team and he/she is in-charge of management of Sintetica teams as well as alliance management with partners in Europe and RoW.Essential Tasks And Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the commercial strategy aligned with the corporate strategy
  • Build and lead goal-oriented high performance commercial teams in B2C markets
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with alliance partners at the senior-level, while partnering with them to better support their business.
  • Responsible for forecast and budget for Europe & RoW.
  • Develop and take new partnerships onboard.
  • Contributes to the definition of product pipeline.
  • Take responsibility for coordinating the Directors of the various Sintetica Entities and the Managers in Europe & RoW
  • Supports CCO in a consultative capacity, in defining Sintetica’s global marketing, innovation strategy and Business Development in the various markets.
  • Reports directly to the CCO.
Required Skills And Core Competences
  • Masters Degree in a Scientific Discipline (Pharmacist preferred) or Economics.
  • 10-15 years of proven commercial experience in the Europe & RoW including at least 5 years within a business or division that has undergone significant international growth.
  • Understand Industry-specific trends, product lifecycle and how to deal with a competitive environment.
  • Experience in leading direct or indirect channels to market with considerable commercial skills and experience in complex negotiations.
  • Proven ability in positioning and developing business based on niche and innovative products.
  • Excellent communicator with an emphatic approach to Partners. Sharp commercial acumen and hunger for business success.
  • Multicultural mindset in line with Sintetica’s philosophy of promoting Diversity and Gender Equality.
  • Strong social, communication, and adaptability skills.
  • Strong adaptive capacity to the commercial topography of Sintetica.
  • Excellent written and spoken English. Fluency in Italian will be a major plus point.
  • Willing to travel, if needed, more than 50% of the time.
  • Willing to relocate to Mendrisio, Switzerland.
