Your role: In this role we provide you the opportunity to handle customer facing projects from evaluation to delivery for the development and manufacture of APIs or drug delivery / controlled release products, as well as associated services! You ensure project results are completed on time in full, on budget and to the satisfaction of the customers. You act as a single point of contact between the Customer, Process and Analytical Development, Quality Unit, Production, Sales and Marketing. You coordinate internally customer enquiries and preparation of proposals in collaboration with the respective internal departments. You initialize projects after receipt of purchase order and prepare plans, scopes result documents including timings/dates. You prioritize the vital project team members in conjugation with the appropriate department heads. During the projects you coordinate project team activities and prioritize project team meetings. You drive the internal and external project communication, e.g. conference calls, status reports, minutes and updates on specific issues. Your responsibility includes maintaining projects within the scope defined in the proposal and coordinating scope changes with the Sales representative. After completion of projects you perform project reviews and lessons learned. Continuous improvement is one of meaningful tasks to improve customer experience

Who you are

• University degree in natural sciences (biology, chemistry). Further education in marketing or economics a plus
• Min. 3 years of confirmed experience as project manager in a customer facing role (in the field of pharmaceuticals)
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Experience in working with international clients
• English proficient a must. German an asset
