Your ‘day to day’

Communications in our Swiss affiliate is a diverse role, from helping define our company’s local voice, to managing the needs from the global company, aligning and adapting them to the Swiss media. Initiating, drafting and driving stories in the media, creating collaborations and media initiatives (conferences, events, press conferences, editorial collaborations), responding to media requests, and generally maintaining a good working relationship with external contacts. You will also play a role in shaping all our affiliate’s external content by collaborating with other internal functions to form one consistent voice.

Who we’re looking for

  • Minimum 5 - 10 years’ experience in communications/PR, e.g., in a government ministry, PR firm, corporation or in journalism.
  • Experience as spokesperson with media
  • Well-developed relationships with Swiss media, and excellent working knowledge of the Swiss media landscape
  • People management experience (1 direct report)
  • Crisis management experience
  • Strong written and spoken skills in German (native), English and French
  • Experience in working with consultants
  • Experience in running communications programs/campaigns with a good understanding of audiences, channels, content and engagement principles.
