Why we are recruiting

The Platform on the Future of Digital Economy and New Value Creation seeks to accelerate digital inclusion and transformation that drives long term business growth and creates new value for people and planet. This specialist position will support participation of Platform partners in collaborative projects, events, and other activities. This temporary position will be active for 12 months.

Reporting Lines and Interactions:

  • This position will report to Head – Platform Strategy, Digital Economy and New Value Creation

  • Successful candidate will work closely with multiple Forum teams including those managing various industry communities, projects on digital transformation of business and society, programming, events and media and public engagement.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support delivery of workshops and other community engagement events (including managing invitations and communications, managing virtual meetings and collaboration tools on platforms such as Zoom, Mural)

  • Support delivery of key outputs such as briefing papers, meeting pre-reads (including activities such as setting up partner consultation calls, expert interviews and surveys)

  • Maintain updated data on partners and collaborators on various digital collaboration tools.

  • Manage internal dashboards to support key decisions, coordinate key internal meetings and communications across Forum teams

  • Collaborate with the Forum’s digital media and media relations teams to showcase key activities, partner insights and collaborations through multiple channels (such as blogs, social media)

  • Stay abreast of new developments, actors and collaborations in the space

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 4+ years’ work experience in corporate strategy, strategy consulting, digital transformation, data and digital identity, 4IR technologies, strategic foresight, or other relevant fields

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, MS Office Suite, and project management tools preferred

  • Proven interest in technology and business trends, and public interest issues

  • Strong interpersonal skills and contextual and emotional intelligence

  • Excellent organizational skills: able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Experience and comfort working on activities involving administrative and coordination support

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required, Master’s degree welcome

  • Excellent communication skills, including creation of visually compelling presentations and other materials, and work with media assets and activities

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in other languages welcome
