Compliance Monitoring & Testing (Compliance Audit), Sustainability, Research and Investment Solutions (SRI)

Work in close collaboration with senior Compliance and Monitoring and Testing (M&T) colleagues to define and implement a program of review/audit activity, which contributes to assurance and future M&T planning. In addition, you perform and/or co-ordinate monitoring and testing reviews across key compliance risks faced by the Sustainability, Research and Investment Solutions (SRI) businesses, demonstrate risk awareness in order to ensure appropriate reviews are designed and then performed. Furthermore, you present review results and offer assurance to Compliance colleagues, business management and local governance committees.

This role involves coverage of a range of business lines/products and offers the opportunity to play a transformational role in helping the organization to implement their ambitions Sustainability/Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) agenda. It also involves direct interaction with the Bank’s senior management connected to your portfolio, where you will be encouraged to act as a trusted partner and use your compliance insight and influencing skills to support the improvement of the Bank’s risk and control environment.

The SRI Monitoring & Testing team is a central team of compliance testing professionals, responsible for the execution of monitoring and testing for Compliance. M&T plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the Banks operations from regulatory risk and work closely in partnership with Compliance advisory colleagues.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

• At years of relevant experience, working within a Risk and Control, Compliance or Internal Audit function, having acquired knowledge on risk, control and various testing techniques, preferably in relation to compliance risks
• Strong understanding of Financial Services and in particular of investment management, sustainability (ESG) or research
• Demonstrated risk awareness across compliance related risk topics and ablitye to complete complex walkthroughs and necessary testing
• Proficient English skills with German preferred.
• Outstanding communication skills and organizational ability is a requirement
• Ability to multi-task competing priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Assertive and ability to face challenging situations
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
