Your role

Are you risk averse but risk aware? Do you specialize in compliance, anti-money laundering, investigations, monitoring & oversight? We are looking for someone like that to:

  • support the business in managing risk
  • identify unusual business relationships and monitor out risk assessments
  • be responsible for compliance with the current legal and regulatory standards
  • advise management as well as client advisors
  • perform second-line-of-defense activities in relation to consequential risks
  • ensure risk frameworks are designed well and operating effectively
  • deliver independent risk assessment and reports that shed light on our risk profile
  • provide business management with controls, tools, training, frameworks , information and insights required to manage risk

Your team

You will be working in the Business Aligned Compliance & Operational Risk Control team in Geneva. We are a team of 10 compliance officers, responsible for the Wealth Management & Swiss Bank in Romandie.

Your expertise

  • Swiss degree in law or economics
  • ideally 2-4 years of experience in a compliance function within a bank in Switzerland
  • analytic, with the ability to provide practical solutions for minimizing risk
  • result-oriented and assertive (you don’t shy away from challenging situations)
  • a strong communicator, team player, who works well under pressure
  • reliable and resilient (challenging situations and conversations don’t scare you)
  • fluent in French and English, German is an asset
