Your field of responsibility

You will take over a wide range of duties as a Compliance Officer for the division Swiss Bank and the Swiss Region of Credit Suisse (including Private Banking, Wealth Management Clients and Digital Banking, Corporate and Investment Banking, Institutional Clients and External Asset Managers) as well as Corporate Functions.

In this role you will be conducting independent high quality compliance reviews to determine compliance with internal and external regulations and standards, i.e., identification, assessment and documentation of compliance risks.

As part of the team, you take over the responsibility for initiating remedial actions to mitigate identified compliance risks and tracking their timely resolution. Additionally, you will be involved in the ongoing development of review as well as overarching compliance programs and new control activities.

You have the chance to closely collaborate with a range of specialist units and business partners within the bank.

In this role you will join our highly motivated, fast-paced Compliance Reviews team, which is mandated to perform comprehensive assessments of and deep dives into various areas with elevated compliance risks. Your skills and experience

You have gained proven experience within a compliance, legal, forensics or audit function in the banking sector and/or gained relevant work experience in a consulting firm or a regulatory body. You have an independent working approach, combined with the ability to apply critical thinking skills, and identify relevant compliance considerations in any given situation.
  • A university degree in Business/Economics or Law or comparable studies
  • Working experience in compliance, internal audit, forensics, consulting or legal
  • Enthusiasm for data analysis and the involvement in enhancing compliance tools & technology
  • Strong business partnership culture combined with a dedication to find solutions and capable of performing even in exciting situations
  • An open, flexible, and team-oriented personality
  • Good communication skills with a very high standard of written and spoken German and English; other languages would be an advantage
  • Good knowledge and experience with standard MS Office products, as well as an interest in numbers
