For our client, an internationally known bank located in the heart of Zurich, we are looking for an accomplished professional, who can empower their compliance team with his experience. We are looking for someone, who is an allrounder in Compliance and comes with a certain background of Compliance areas as Wealth Management, CIB, Security Services and Custody Business. If you have a passion and drive for Compliance, then we are looking for you as:
Compliance Officer (m/w/d) 100%

Your tasks:
You review, challenge and validate customer knowledge (KYC) and due diligence documents produced by the first line of defense (1LOD)

You manage politically exposed persons (PEP) and sanctions alerts (SUN tool used by the bank) and suspicious transaction alerts (resulting from both the constant vigilance of all employees in the branch and the Actimize AML tool used by the branch to detect suspicious/unusual transactions)

You will be involved in training and informing 1LOD staff on compliance issues

You will investigate serious cases of non-compliance, report them to the Head of Compliance in a timely manner and assist him/her in selecting Instructions and countermeasures

You will be involved in the implementation of compliance projects initiated by the Group and at local level and in the preparation of the various reports

Interface with sales and coverage teams, due diligence teams and other related functions and collaborate with other compliance functions in Switzerland
Functie-eisen

You have a bachelor’s/master’s degree in law/business administration, postgraduate studies in compliance management or equivalent

You have a good understanding of BP2S products and activities and generally of securities services activities

Very good knowledge of English, German and French (written and spoken)

You have 4 to 5 years of experience in international banking and finance (preferably including experience in the securities services/post-trading industry or in the investment or corporate department of an international bank)

Good interpersonal team skills and ability to work effectively under pressure

Advanced user of Microsoft Office

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Good communication skills

Analytical skills, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and pay attention to detail; logical thinking skills

Strong sense of integrity and discretion

Solution-oriented thinking while maintaining integrity in compliance with regulations

Knowledge or experience with audits and controls
