What you do

Perform analysis on composite structural and non-structural parts for future aircraft programs
Take on a leading role in composite-related sub-projects regarding structural engineering work
Prepare documentation to support design reviews, technical meetings and sizing processes
Prepare risk assessments for new composite design concepts from a structural standpoint
Support test concepts for composite components and assemblies, including related test requests and test data analysis
Support shopfloor projects with regards to optimized part layout and design

What you bring

University degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
Relevant experience with the composite part design process including composites stacking sequence, classic laminate theory, joints and manufacturing processes
Sound knowledge of FE structural analysis (using NASTRAN, FEMAP/ABAQUS is a plus) on composite aircraft structures as well as experience in deploying classical hand-calculation and stress analysis methods and utilizing Aerospace industry standard reference sources
Fluency in English, German (B2)
Ability to closely cooperate in an inter-disciplinary, vertically-integrated team as well as to work and maintain focus on a wide range of tasks simultaneously
Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under challenging timescales in a dynamic and responsive environment as well as willingness to independently handle and take ownership of assigned tasks
