Compounding Production Process Engineer

Your next role ?

As a Compounding Production Process Engineer you will support the fragrance manufacturing operations and focus on delivering the company’s objectives within corporate guidelines and local policies, in collaboration with the Compounding Production Manager.

In this exciting role you will :

Production Management Support :
  • Control manufacturing of Compounding products, material flow, and inventory to achieve cost and quality targets and production schedules of the assigned production line(s), ensuring compliance of standards in conjunction with and under the general direction of Compounding Production Manager ;
  • Design high level concept for Engineering to do detail specifications ;
  • Analyse production specifications and plant capacity data and performs calculation to determine manufac-turing processes, tools and manpower requirements ;
  • Solve problems using a combination of standard or modified procedures ;
  • Operate all relevant machinery, tools, and equipment and undertake standard and complex production tasks safely and in accordance with instructions ;
  • Make independent decisions in planning, organizing and completing technical assignments. Not supervised in detail except on more difficult assignments ;
  • GMP lead for the manufacturing environment ;
  • Ensure EHS is at the center of our focus, developing sustainable and safe solutions ;
  • Increase agility of our processes to improve our customer services.
People Management :
  • Lead small manufacturing process technician team to deliver Best In Class support to the production.
EHS responsabilities :
  • Ensuring that the following risk assessments are completed, and safety gaps are addressed and closed before start-up: process, equipment and machinery hazards, fire and explosion hazards, jobs/tasks hazards ;
  • Ensuring that any project, such as CAPEX projects, addresses safety aspects right from the start ;
  • Reporting instantly to their immediate supervisor and to the local EHS manager any undesired situation which they have reason to believe could present a hazard and which they cannot correct themselves ;
  • Reporting any incident, accident, injury to health or near-miss which arises in the course of, or in connection with work ;
  • Ensuring that employees under their supervision, irrespective of the nature of their contractual situation, have received appropriate training and have the required competencies before they are active on assignments ;
  • Ensuring that employees under their supervision receive refresher training on a regular basis ;
  • Ensuring that third-party employees intervening on-site under their area of responsibility have received appropriate training and competencies before they are active on assignments.

Your Profile :

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or equivalent ;
  • 6-8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment ;
  • 2-4 years of experience in people management ;
  • Proven Change Management experience ;
  • Worked in a GMP environment ;
  • Lean Manufacturing and/ or Six Sigma a plus ;
  • Proficiency in SAP and other necessary department systems ;
  • Proficiency in data analysis ;
  • Fluency (oral, written) in French and English.
