Our Maisons encompass several of the most prestigious names in the luxury industry.Our Global Connectivity services are looking for a Cloud Engineer with a strong networking background who will provide expertise in the design and operations of our enterprise architecture. A minimum of 8 years of experience in Connectivity and/or Linux infrastructure engineering, including at least 2 years supporting cloud-based infrastructure with Amazon Web Services and/or Google Cloud Platform including all supporting technologies and toolsets. An in-depth understanding of public/private/hybrid cloud solutions and experienced in integrating public cloud into traditional hosting models using Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform.HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?Deliver network integrity and availability across multiple regions and officesRemediating current implementations to align with new reference architecturesDeveloping and applying governance practices to ensure that new environments are implemented in alignment with agreed architectures and templatesData Centre Network and Cloud SaaS, PaaS/IaaS services offered by Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform, and network trends like Software Defined Networks (SDN) and Network Function Virtualisation (NFV)Local and Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN) technologies within a very large enterprise, including service provider technologies and architectures such as multi-VRF routing, multi-layer switching, multicast and quality-of-service techniquesHOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
  • Demonstrable experience in operating a large-scale multi-cloud environment
  • Strong understanding of the TCP/IP protocol
  • Strong know-how of standard industry automation tools and related technologies, APIs, GIT, Python, LINUX, Ansible, Terraform
  • Strong know-how with Security technologies is a plus (Firewalls, Proxy’s, VPN’s)
  • CCNA or equivalent know with IP routing protocols
  • Relevant industry certifications on Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform are a plus
  • Customer Focus and service oriented
  • Team player and work effectively within a global team
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Technical writing skills and experience documenting procedures
  • English written and spoken
