Job Description:
MMGH Consulting GmbH is a consulting and advisory agency that translates science, knowledge and data into strategies and activities that can produce a direct impact on patients and countries’ health with special focus on infectious diseases and maternal, infant and adolescent health interventions. Based on the extensive experience and competencies of its founders and network of partner agencies, MMGH advises and supports organisations in defining Global Health focused business and product strategies, designing and implementing the appropriate and effective delivery of health interventions, defining and supporting rigorous science-based advocacy plans, prototyping and validating strategies and interventions via appropriate field research, and assessing supply and demand scenarios to shape successful strategies and procurement approaches.
MMGH is looking for a highly motivated, experienced individual to join its team immediately to contribute to MMGH diversified and evolving project portfolio.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
· Manage the generation of key deliverables of the market project with special focus on quantitative analyses including forecasting demand of vaccines with a particular focus on MICs and LICs and on oral cholera vaccine, Typhoid and Pneumococcal vaccines
· Conduct and manage the analytical analyses in projects supporting the implementation of the Ending Cholera: A Roadmap to 2030
· Develop and conduct analytical and decision frameworks to evaluate programmatic needs, assess vaccine policy and implementation gaps with a particular focus on enteric diseases.
· Conduct consultations with disease and vaccine policy experts and other key stakeholders.
· Writing and development of key strategic documents and deliverables.
· Active participant in team meetings

Work Experience:
· Minimum work experience of 8 years of which at least 2 years is field experience in a low-income setting working directly with Ministries of Health and at least 5 years in vaccines or immunization focused assignments
· Prior experience in global public health is required in particular previous working experience with the key players that are implementing partners - e.g., WHO, UNICEF, Gavi, CHAI etc
· Prior experience in global public health is required in particular previous work experience with the key players that are global health donors – e.g., Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Wellcome Trust, etc.
· In depth knowledge of the epidemiology of enteric diseases, such as cholera and typhoid and of the global programs designed to reduce their burden
· Demonstrated experience and proficiency with the following programmes: MS Office products – MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and building models) and PowerPoint, Tableau / PowerBi or other data visualisation programme, Statistical packages (e.g., STATA, R, SAS, etc) desirable
· Experience working with large datasets and complex models
· Experience in drafting and developing policy and / or strategic documents
Skills/Competencies:
· Quantitative and analytical skills to manage large data sets and to develop demand forecasting models
· Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-cultural team
· Capacity to progressively lead projects workstreams/projects
· Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a remote team set up and to deliver quality outputs in timely fashion
· Takes the initiative and has planning skills to manage their time on multiple projects
· Good communication skills (written and oral)
· Full fluency in English required, other languages desirable
Academic Qualifications:
Master’s degree in public health, Epidemiology or Biostatistics
