Job Purpose

The Project Controller position will assume financial ownership for an important multi-year Capital project and collaborate with all the involved project managers to ensure financial goals are met and results are reported back to senior leadership on forecast and actuals cycles. In this role you will also collaborate with the Global Financial Services, Centers of Excellence and other centralized organizations on the financial cycles for actuals and forecasts to ensure the reliability of the financial information, insightful commentary of financial drivers, communication of risks and opportunities and the application of the J&J standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Execute Business Planning and the periodic Forecast Updates with business partners ensuring the reliability of the information and its timely submission
  • Manage Project Tracker and collaborate with Project Managers to ensure compliant and accurate project spend
  • Coordinate and align with affiliates intercompany transactions
  • Point contact for all project spend related inquiries
  • Preparation of quarterly project reviews
  • Support Project team on Capital appropriation requests
Who We Are Looking For
  • Min. 3-4 years of applicable finance and accounting experience
  • High analytical skills supported by strong capabilities in MS Office and SAP R/3
  • Higher education in business administration/Finance (Bachelor, MBA)
  • Demonstrated record of influencing, negotiating, and conflict management skills
  • Demonstrated record of success of communications skills (presentations, listening, written skills)
  • Demonstrated success in analytical and technical skills
  • Fluent in English
