Founded in 2011, GBT is delivering on its goal to transform the treatment and care of sickle cell disease (SCD), a lifelong, devastating inherited blood disorder. In the United States, the company has introduced Oxbryta® (voxelotor) tablets, the first U.S. FDA-approved treatment that directly inhibits sickle hemoglobin polymerization, an underlying cause of SCD.

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has accepted for review GBT’s Marketing Authorization Application (MAA) seeking full marketing authorization of Oxbryta in Europe to treat hemolytic anemia in SCD patients ages 12 years and older. In addition, GBT plans to seek regulatory approval to expand the potential use of Oxbryta in the United States for the treatment of SCD in children age 4 to 11 years.

GBT is also advancing its pipeline program in SCD with inclacumab, a P-selectin inhibitor in development to address pain crises associated with the disease, and GBT021601, the company’s next generation hemoglobin S polymerization inhibitor. In addition, GBT’s drug discovery teams are working on new targets to develop the next wave of treatments for SCD.

Position Summary

GBT is looking for a senior contract project manager with demonstrated experience in the implementation of CRM systems and Business Analytics Platforms (e.g., MDM, Datawarehouse / Reporting).

This role can be based in Zug or other European locations. This role will work and engage with senior members within the regional and country GBT organizations.

The role reports to the Director Commercial Excellence Europe & GCC.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Setup the CRM project organization and governance, plan and lead the CRM implementation
• Engage with key cross-functional stakeholders (Country GMs, Commercial Operations, Medical & Access) to define the CRM roadmap and business/ functional requirements to support a customer centric engagement model
• Identify CRM Implementation partner and lead planning, implementation, testing & rollout of the CRM in Europe. Interface with US CRM stakeholder (IT & business) to ensure appropriate integration within the GBT IS ecosystem
• Define & implement interfaces to customer database supplier and other internal systems (e.g. MedInfo, Veeva Promomats)
• Define opt-in / opt-out process and tracking of privacy notices. Ensure overall compliance with GDPR
• Create and maintain user level training documentation and provide initial and follow-up user training to ensure proper use of the CRM system
• Define CRM Support requirements (internal vs external). Setup process & source 3rd party service provider accordingly. Provide basic user support and system admin
• Support the customer segmentation, targeting & field planning process in countries (incl territory design and implementation in CRM)
• Define and implement Key Performance Indicators for Customer Engagement and facilitate regular reviews with country management
  

Business Analytics

• Setup the project organization and governance, plan and lead the implementation of the Business Analytics platform
• Engage with key cross-functional stakeholders (Country GMs, Commercial Operations/Medical/Access) to develop the Business Analytics strategy & roadmap and define requirement specifications
• Evaluate and source the future GBT business analytics platform to provide MDM, datawarehousing, reporting & dashboarding and identify an implementation partner
• Define and implement interfaces to 3rd party data vendors (customer data / sales data) and internal data sources (e.g. sales) and other systems
• Define key business metrics & KPIs to enable launch tracking and performance management
• Define and develop the key reports & dashboards to deliver key metrics, KPIs and insights on customer engagement plan execution (field activities)
• Plan and manage roll-out and end-user training

• Proven ability to work independently and manage complex projects end-to-end
• Strong interpersonal and management skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate effectively at all levels of management and peers.
• Ability to run virtual and face to face project meetings effectively and efficiently
• Strong and clear communicator written and verbal, incl presentation skills
  

Qualifications

• Min Bachelor’s degree in maths, science, IT or business
• 7+ years’ experience in project management, including management of CRM and Business Analytics implementation projects, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
• Pharma Sales Operations and/or Business Analytics experience a plus
• Experience with and ability to manage relationships with external suppliers
• Experience in Veeva CRM & Promomats and Sales Force Marketing Cloud, Tableau
• Fluency in English is mandatory and other European language(s) are a plus
