In this role, you will provide communication consultancy and implementation support for the business units and corporate functions of Sonova, enhancing the information flow within the organization and leveraging all internal and external channels managed by the Newsroom team. You will be responsible for producing content in a variety of digital formats, including text and audio-visual, and assist the team in creating and distributing announcements via Sonova’s mailing tool or global collaboration platform.

Your tasks
  • Help position the respective business units or corporate functions, including Management Board members and leadership teams, within the organization and support cascading of relevant information across all levels
  • Support the build-up of a unified Sonova culture and drive employee engagement
  • Source story ideas and news from the business and corporate functions and bring them to the attention of the wider Sonova Group as well as external stakeholders
  • Contribute to global coverage of corporate initiatives and topics in line with Newsroom agenda, following an integrated approach
  • Create storyboards and produce audio-visual content in close collaboration with other team members and external agencies (recording, pre- and post-production)
  • Draft and edit news and feature stories for digital channels
  • Oversee and govern corporate employee mailings
  • Support online live streams of employee town halls globally
  • Drive analytics, compiling and interpreting data to measure targeted communications impact

Your profile
  • Degree in Communications or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar role
  • Expert knowledge in audio-visual communications and production
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in a global environment
  • Proficient in English, preferably at native level
  • Working experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g Premiere, Spark)
  • Experience using content management systems, e.g. Unily and Drupal
  • Quick learner with a can-do mindset and a high level of self-management
  • Hands-on personality and strategic thinker able to manage stakeholder expectations and work with people from all across the organization
