About the Role

You will be a member of the growing Controlling team in the Corporate Finance department at Stäubli Headquarters in Pfäffikon SZ. The team is managed by the Corporate Controlling Officer and has close interaction with the Group Senior Management, Divisional Finance Officers, Corporate Functions (Accounting, HR, Supply Chain, Strategy Execution Office and IT) as well as with local Finance and Supply Chain teams across the Group. You will bring deep insights and experience in financial planning and analysis, supply chain finance and working capital optimization to contribute towards the Group’s growth and value creation plans.

Key responsibilities


Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Manager


  • Manage and lead the global financial planning and analysis process at Group level with strong focus on supply chain and working capital
  • Strive for continuous process and transparency improvement in the area of gross margin, working capital, ROIC, Cash Flow and CAPEX
  • Support the creation and implementation of the overall FP&A framework improving the speed, accuracy, quality and transparency of financial results and supporting accountability of results delivery
  • Lead and coordination of long-, mid- and short-term financial planning cycles
  • Partnering with Corporate, Division and local finance teams and business representatives to capture group-wide planning requirements in a proactive manner
  • Steer and manage group-wide deviation analysis and reporting of financial performance in cooperation with Division Finance Officers
  • Provide expertise and contribution to group-wide finance projects, e.g. implementation of an integrated and volume based business planning solution
  • Manage and drive the local budgeting and forecasting process of Corporate Functions/ Headquarters


Corporate Financial Supply Chain Controller

Advanced technology, highly differentiated products and a proven track record in various industrial segments have been at the core of Stäubli success. This exciting role will be the Finance business partner to the Corporate Supply Chain Officer, with responsibility for procurement, manufacturing, planning and logistics. This team owns global supply chain for textile machines, robotics and connectors. Today, our production units are located across Europe, USA & China with logistics warehouses across the globe.

  • Analyze operational and financial results, including KPIs, business driver as well as reporting and performance monitoring
  • Continue to refine productivity metrics to improve supply chain and working capital performance tracking based on financial and managerial data
  • Co-pilot and financial business partner to Corporate Supply Chain Officer and to Supply Chain Community to achieve operational excellence by providing support and advice on supply chain guidance
  • Provide expertise to supply chain projects, e.g. definition of KPIs and calculation methodologies, specifications and implementation, setting up of KPI reporting and performance monitoring across financial system and reporting process (ERP, Consolidation, BI)
  • Financial modelling and controlling of key supply chain projects, e.g. Design of future Supply Chain
  • Coordinate and drive for standard setting across Corporate, Divisional and local Financial Supply Chain requirements such as indirect tax and transfer pricing, hedging of currencies and raw materials

Contributor to Group Finance Community

  • Active contribution to strengthen Finance Community and it’s responsibility and visibility across the Group
  • Tutor for Financial Planning and Financial Supply Chain topics within Finance Academy to train finance and business representatives
  • Lead improvement and transformation projects and subprojects within Finance Community
  • Active contribution to the Finance Community by challenging status quo and continuously seeking for improvements (e.g. new/different tools, solutions, concepts and processes) to leverage the Stäubli Group to the next level

About you


Core competencies, skills and experience requirements


  • Several years of well-rounded financial planning and analysis experience with track record on Financial Supply Chain of international Groups, ideally in Industrial or Consumer Goods
  • Deep analytical capabilities in a data driven Company, including statistical analysis, deeply analysing trends to identify business insights, cross operational and financial performance and systematic identification of opportunities to improve value creation
  • Clear ability to communicate and work effectively with key stakeholders cross-functionally to influence and impact operations. Proven ability to build strong relationships with business partners, gain trust, and drive results
  • Demonstrated success navigating and visualizing complex business environments and driving efficient and effective execution. Strength in identifying and executing sustainable process improvements
  • International experience managing cross-functional projects
  • Strong data-driven leader with deep expertise in reporting, performance analysis, and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated success leading the change management efforts required when introducing new processes and tools to evolving the capabilities of an organization
  • Proven experience in communicating and conveying complex topics to a broader audience with less expertise and experience
  • Strong result orientation, determination and flexibility to work in a matrix organization and problem solving skills
  • Ability and flexibility to educate and work successfully in a newly developed team
  • Significant experience with SAP, Financial Consolidation and Planning (e.g. Hyperion, ideally OneStream) and BI strongly preferred

Educational background


  • Bachelor in Accounting, Finance or Controlling required
  • MBA, CPA/ CMA preferred
  • Education in Project Management preferred
  • Fluent in English is a must. German and French are considered as a plus
