LOCATION

This position is ideally located in the Corporate Office in Baar, Switzerland or alternatively in the Corporate Office in London, UK.

OVERVIEW
The role, in conjunction with the Chief HR Officer, is responsible for implementing and leading innovative Human Resources programmes and practices throughout the EMEA and Americas region, as well as managing all aspects of employee relations, recruitment, organizational development, performance management, learning & development, compensation & benefits at the EMEA Corporate Offices. This role will also act as an HR Business Partner to the Managing Director EMEA & Americas, HR Managers and GMs at Aman properties in EMEA and Americas and will also play a key role in the development and execution of global HR strategies and programmes.


Responsibilities
  • Work with Chief Human Resources Officer on the overall Human Resources strategy for the EMEA and Americas region
  • Responsible for the HR function for the EMEA corporate offices including personnel file administration, on/off-boarding, employee events, and employee relations
  • Talent Acquisition for the EMEA corporate offices and assistance in recruiting for senior roles in EMEA and Americas properties as required
  • Support the Compensation & Benefits Manager regarding payroll and benefits for the EMEA corporate offices
  • Ensure compliancy with regional employment laws and keep up to date on changes in employment law with the EMEA region, particularly where Aman has corporate offices
  • Work permit applications for the corporate offices in EMEA region
  • Provide full operational support covering all aspects of the HR function including offering support to property HR Leaders on day-to-day operational HR issues
  • Project Management in Colleague Engagement, Learning & Development, Talent Management & Acquisition, Employer Branding, Compensation & Benefits
  • Maintain relationships with Aman properties in EMEA and Americas to ensure their alignment with the overall HR strategy
  • Be the point of contact and HR Business Partner for Aman properties in EMEA and Americas and support the roll out of global HR projects, practices and programmes within those regions
  • Support new opening hotels in all HR related matters in the EMEA and Americas region
  • Audit hotels in the EMEA and Americas region according to HR corporate standards
  • Be the regional contact for government entities and vendors in relation to HR matters
  • Establish Human Resources objectives that are in line with the organization’s objectives, supporting the overall HR Strategy
  • Support the implementation of innovative HR programmes & systems that foster engagement and strengthen the Aman spirit and purpose across the entire employee lifecycle
  • Preparation and submission of information required by government entities
  • Be a change agent to support the organizations initiatives where required
  • Policy development, implementation and documentation for corporate offices in EMEA
  • Preparation of reports and analysis that enable insight and decision making, as needed

Qualifications
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role with experience in EMEA as a definite advantage
  • University degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Fluency in English is essential. Ability to speak a European language is an advantage
  • Advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel in the EMEA and Americas region is required
  • Analytical, creative, strategic, with strong leadership and teambuilding skills
  • Experience in dispute, conflict resolution, negotiations & deal making
  • Must possess outstanding guest services skills, professional presentation and sophisticated interpersonal skills, be sensitive to cultural nuances
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with ability to work cross-functionally
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment
