Corporate Distribution Analyst

The Kempinski Hotels Corporate Office is located in Geneva, Switzerland. The group currently operates a total of 79 five-star hotels in 34 countries. The portfolio includes historic grand hotels, superb city hotels, outstanding resorts and superior residences.

Corporate Distribution Analyst
The Corporate Distribution Analyst maintains and optimises the global distribution landscape and supports the growth of online revenue contribution to hotels in order to increase Kempinski’s digital market reach.

Key Responsibilities:
General
  • Maintains the Kempinski distribution landscape to deliver an efficient and revenue-
focussed service level for hotels and partners.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with all relevant strategic partners of
Kempinski and liaises with said vendors to review/escalate any issues, enhancement
requirements, and all related project items.
System Management
  • Uncovers business opportunities linked to functionalities (new and existing) within the
technological landscape of Kempinski in the field of distribution.
  • Supports the testing and implementation of new chain-wide distribution channels and
solutions.
  • Provides technical support with the roll-out of strategic global agreements with
commercial partners.
  • Supports in safeguarding the brand strategy in terms of rate structure, data standards
as well as profile management.
  • Audits the configuration of relevant distributions systems and data standards to
ensure those reflect Kempinski standards.
  • Creates, maintains and reviews policies and procedures for central and property-
level systems to enforce, communicate and implement Kempinski standards.
  • Assists in the activation of new hotels in the Kempinski Central Reservations System
to ensure all data and configuration standards are met.
  • Supports the creation and termination of properties on all relevant third-party
distribution sites and associated platforms.
  • Ensures hotel configuration changes in the Central Reservations System are
conducted in line with the data management standards and communicated efficiently
to all stakeholders.
Support
  • Maintains the Kempinski Central Reservations System helpdesk in accordance with
strict service level agreements.
  • Facilitates the mapping process to third-party platforms through efficient collaboration
with the Central Reservations System provider and third-party support.
  • Designs new, innovative processes that help optimize processes across the global
portfolio.
Miscellaneous Tasks
  • Handles and administrates any additional, reasonable requests as required.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
  • Passionate about technology and innovation.
  • Min. 2 years of work experience in hospitality in the fields of reservations, revenue
management or distribution, or within the online travel industry.
  • Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment with excellent English
skills.
  • Proven working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Problem-solving and result-oriented
  • General understanding of hotel central reservations systems - knowledge of Sabre
SynXis and Oracle Opera is a plus
  • General understanding of the digital landscape, including channel managers, GDS
and web booking engines.
  • Eligibility to apply for a work permit in Switzerland.
