For our site in Basel we are currently seeking an intern for our Corporate Security team for 9 months with the possibility of an extension

Corporate Security Intern (m/f/d) – 9 months

Role Purpose
  • Learn how the Syngenta Corporate Security team delivers its mission aiming at protecting Syngenta people, and assets against crime.
  • A deep understanding of our essential Security programs in the area of people protection (Travel security awareness and Security training in exposed countries or situations) and assets protection (Strategic sites security assessment and Anti-counterfeiting program on the ground and online).
  • Enable Global Security team to accomplish their objectives by learning what crucial operational support are, and gradually coordinate security service lines implementation.
  • Support the measurement of Corporate Security impact/outcome of these implementations.
Accountabilities
  • As a Corporate Security Intern, you are responsible for the co-ordination of regional and global communication activities on anti-counterfeiting.
  • You will have the opportunity to assist in the monitoring and removal of online illicit offers of Syngenta products.
  • You will perform the data quality review in the global case management database.
  • You will perform the data analysis review of our e-commerce webscraping tool.
  • This role will help you learn the process of security intelligence gathering using specific tool for this.
  • Additionally, you will provide project management support on anti-criminal deterrence, detection and response programs (e.g., security risk assessments, online illicit offers or anti-counterfeiting).
Requirements

Qualifications
  • You have a background in business administration, law, criminal science or similar.
  • We are looking for you if you are eager to improve your project management skills and if you want to learn more about process improvement.
  • You are familiar with the MS office tools (Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • You have experiences working with databases and coding principals.
  • You appreciate self-reliant ways of working and the ability to take initiative.
  • You are fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Your excellent problem-solving skills, your quality focus and your ability to work under pressure-tight schedule completes your profile.
