The Corporate Social Responsibility Program Manager will be responsible for the development of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report, disclosure to various sustainability frameworks, updates to the ESG rating agencies and coordination of efforts to continuously improve Lumentum’s performance in the environmental, social, and management system.

The Responsibilities Will Include But Not Be Limited To
  • Conduct materiality assessment and stakeholder engagement.
  • Prioritize material sustainability topics, develop metrics, establish controls and risk mitigation activities for the material topics.
  • Develop sustainability goals and set targets for continues improvement.
  • Interact and collaborate with various teams (EHS, HR, Legal, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering) worldwide for the data gathering and change implementation.
  • Engage with the subject matter experts to develop a sustainability report content in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standard
  • Develop disclosures to the ESG frameworks like SASB, ISS, EcoVadis
  • Optimize a process for data gathering and reporting efforts
  • Monitor progress towards achievement of the sustainability goals
  • Drive continues improvement to reduce environmental impacts of products and manufacturing processes
  • Communicate updates to the ESG rating agencies, and review ESG reports
  • Support development of CDP reports
  • Update internal and external CSR website.
  • Respond to customer surveys and queries regarding CSR.
  • Keep up to date and provide updates on CSR standards development
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of work experience or Master’s Degree with 3+ years of work experience in CSR, preferably in the electronic industry.
  • Expert knowledge of GRI standards and other reporting frameworks like SASB, UN Sustainable Development Goals, and EcoVadis
  • Thorough understanding of the Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct and its requirements
  • Proven experience in working with multiple departments and in cross-functional projects worldwide.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, teamwork and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask and to work in a high intensity working environment
  • An ability to work under own initiative and to prioritize multiple workloads and tasks whilst still meeting timelines
  • Proven experience in working with multiple departments in different time zones
