For our client, an international company based in Zürich area, we are looking for an experienced strategy manager to shape the organization’s long-term strategy and to develop measures that realize the business objectives.Your Responsibilities
In this position you will be in charge of reviewing the company and determining the strengths, weaknesses, operational effectiveness and opportunities. More in details you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the development of long-term organizational strategy to improve organizational effectiveness and build a sustainable competitive advantage
- Conducting research and analyses of operational effectiveness, processes, stakeholders, etc. and assessing market trends and competitors to identify strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities
- Aligning departmental goals, processes and resource allocation with the organizational strategy
- Presenting findings, projections and recommended actions to stakeholders and teams to support and guide senior executive decision-making processes
- Planning, implementing and managing proposed recommendations and projects
- Monitoring and reporting on projects to define possible improvements and analyze the results
You bring with you a completed university education in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Management; a started or concluded MBA would be an advantage. Additionally, you offer:
- At least 7 years of strategic management experience in one or more between Management Consulting, Business administration or Strategic planning
- Excellent understanding of business operations and procedures
- Outstanding research and analytical abilities with focus on competitive, performance and market analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to cope with changes and connect with stakeholders and team members
- Strong leadership skills to motivate, inspire, encourage and challenge the team and to deal with potentially difficult strategies
- Strong organizational and planning skills in particular for project definition and management
- Business fluency in English and German; additional languages are an advantage
