To strenghten the Finance team, we are looking for an equally dynamic

Credit Analyst / KYC Specialist

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Performing credit and risk assessments of counterparties
  • Monitoring of counterparty exposures and on-going maintenance of relationships with counterparties as part of the process.
  • Assisting Traders in supporting client relations from a credit perspective.
  • Preparing credit approval applications for management.
  • Updating and maintaining credit files.
  • Ensuring credit exposure/risks are in line with internal policies and risk appetite.
  • Selling of credit risk to banks/insurance markets.
  • Completing sanction and due diligence checks on counterparties.
  • Managing of credit insurance policies.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Prior credit analysis experience (min. 3 years), in the commodities sector.
  • Able to perform detailed analysis of financial statements.
  • Proficiency of trade finance product structures and able to identify the various type of risks associated within these structures.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory and compliance environment.
  • Good communication skills - ability to present well.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English.
  • Good level of Excel.
  • Ability to priorities and work under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask and an excellent team player.
