Your field of responsibility


In this interesting job within Credit Risk Management you will focus on the financing of ships for clients being active in the dynamic industry of international maritime transportation. Your will be responsible for diversified tasks within the credit approval and portfolio monitoring process, including amongst others client analysis and rating determination, intensive interaction with the sales organization and other business partners, evaluation of credit requests, presentation of credit assessments and recommendations to higher management levels. The role will give you the opportunity to contribute to recurring portfolio vulnerability identification and assessment including ad-hoc expert based stress testing and reporting to internal and external committees and regulators. You will have the chance to identify automation potential and actively support simplification and digitalization of risk management tools and processes. Your skills and experience
  • To be a successful candidate, you should bring along the following skills and expertise:
  • Higher vocational training or a university degree in banking / business or financial economics or similar.
  • Excellent Excel knowledge, preferably with familiarity in VBA.
  • Hands-on experience in the shipping industry (especially regulation) or ship finance.
  • Stress Testing experience.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of German language is an advantage.
  • Accessible, committed and team-minded personality with assertiveness and independent working style.
  • Understands the value of diversity in the workplace and is dedicated to fostering an inclusive culture in all aspects of working life so that people from all backgrounds receive equal treatment, realize their full potential and can bring their full, authentic selves to work
