Fantastic chance to join this Swiss-based crypto trading firm, where the best minds in the quantitative, engineering and blockchain fields are collaborating to shape the future of decentralized finance, focusing on trading digital assets and their derivatives. They are seeking an outstanding individual to take up the position of CTO at this exciting time of growth.

This is a hands-on role, where you will be responsible for developing, leading and deploying the technology strategy across the company. You will also manage the engineering teams, bringing them along as you realize the vision and potential of this business.

The successful CTO will come from a technical background, have a start-up mindset, and still enjoy coding at least some of the time.

They are opening an office in London soon, so you can be based in London or Zug, with hybrid WFH flexibility.

Requirements
  • 10-15 years’ hands-on experience, with 5 years in team management
  • High performance trading and/or quant research technology experience
  • Passion for hiring the best engineering talent
  • Strong programming skills in C++, Go and Python
  • In-depth knowledge of modern cloud-based backend architecture
  • Exceptional communicator, at all levels of technical know-how
  • Bonus points for High Frequency and/or Crypto experience
