Customer Success: Microsoft aspires to help our customers achieve their own digital transformation, leveraging the power of Microsoft Cloud solutions and support offerings. To this end, Microsoft invests in a dedicated Customer Success team that will help Microsoft customers successfully realize their business outcomes.

Customer Engineers (CEs) are deep technical advisors supporting Enterprise customers to deliver unique value by removing blockers to consumption within their given Solution Area. CEs provide technical support including risk assessments and tuning to operate and optimize a customer’s cloud or on-premise environment. The Customer Engineer provides support delivery services as well as technical readiness through a Customer’s Support contract remotely or on-premises.

Responsibilities
  • Advocate for our customers to help resolve critical and complex technical issues using your technical proficiency combined with your understanding of our customer’s needs.
  • Ability to go technically deep across Modern Work services and actively seek solutions to customer needs and communicate trends to leadership.
  • Build a close working relationship with the teams related to assigned service areas to leverage in case of escalations, as well as to drive product improvements.
  • Deeply engage with your customers.
  • Maintain and expand accreditations/certifications and assist in developing best practices for key technologies and products.
  • We are looking to hire a team worker that has a keen interest in proactively participating in Microsoft Communities, in recruiting activities, helping new joiners to ramp-up and/or coaching/mentoring others.

Qualifications

You should bring:
  • Solid understanding of digital transformation business drivers, cloud platforms, emerging computing trends
  • Demonstrated experience in an enterprise or similar environment
  • Outstanding analytical skills, as well as communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for technical issues
  • Passion for customers and focus on delivering the right customer experience
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment

Technical

Expert level covering the following technologies:

Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager)

Windows 10 (manage and secure), Windows-as-a-Service and Windows Update for Business

Management of iOS and Android Devices with Microsoft Intune (MAM / MDM)

Client Security and Compliance (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Conditional Access, Zero Trust Model)

Autopilot, M365 App Deployment and Operating System Deployment (OSD)

Additional to the above, very good in one or more of the following:

Microsoft Azure AD,

Azure Virtual Desktop,

Microsoft PowerBI

Sharepoint Online, Sharepoint OnPrem, OneDrive

Microsoft TEAMS, TEAMS as a Platform

Microsoft Viva

Microsoft Workplace Analytics

Troubleshooting skills across network, application, ADFS/AD

Experience in Security and Compliance

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.

One or more Microsoft Certification in one of the following areas are a plus:

M365: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

M365: Security Administrator Associate

M365: Enterprise Administrator Expert
