As Customer & Logistics Manager, you oversee the client portfolio and are primarily point of contact of our European clients

You deliver excellence in Customer care by focusing on efficiently and accurately managing the order flow including order processing, invoicing, and returns & litigation management.

You also always ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal policies to help solving any issue that might arise.

You own the relationship with our logistics partners and manage the logistics activities including stock management and you are the point of reference for vVardis requests towards all logistics activities.

You will also be a key project contributor in the development and upgrades of our internal tools as we as new improvement projects.

While the ideal candidate would be in the Zug/Zurich area (Switzerland) and able to work in our Innovation Center in Windisch (Aargau canton), the position has flexibility to be part time remote working from our business office in Rolle (Vaud canton).

CUSTOMERS SERVICE

  • Act as the company gatekeeper for all matter pertaining to Customer Service & Logistics, including setup of process, procedures, training, etc
  • Direct/support local and 3rd party Customer Service Team in their day-to-day activities
  • Point of reference and ensures to resolves all related matter in cooperation with the relevant stakeholders
  • Create and ensure good relationship with customers and sales organizations
  • Assist Sales Leads – added sales through positive interaction with customers purchase managers
  • Manage stock issues by being proactive: informing the customers and suggesting solution(s)
  • Manage and document customer requirements to provide customer satisfaction with each order and prevent deductions and/or complaints
  • Ensure weekly reporting on overall customer satisfaction
  • In charge of the process customer orders including:
  • Create new account in the system. Check accuracy of the data. Timely and accurately maintain and update customer master file
  • Check all orders with respect to quantity, price, delivery conditions. Secure and guarantee deliveries to destination on time and in full
  • Manage invoicing process (on-line and manual)
  • Control that all transactions are properly and timely recorded in ERP
  • Daily Follow up on customer orders and communicate difficulties

LOGISTIC MANAGEMENT

  • Manage 3PLs to ensure KPI performance metrics are consistently met, and that provider is operating in line with the global business targets
  • Guarantee logistics efficiency in satisfying customer expectations in the supply of products
  • Communicate daily with the 3PLs to ensure business priorities are clear and customer orders are executed to the highest company standard including fulfillment and transportation.
  • Manage added value activities at 3PL (Rework, customization, etc)
  • Authenticate the monthly invoices and ensure costs are within budget
  • Organize and lead a 3PL Tender
  • Actively drive continuous improvements on processes, technological, and other relevant industry trends, and opportunities
  • Report monthly inventory holding reports and logistics performance
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory management processes and information management systems, including:
  • Stock reconciliation and alignment of inventories between vVardis ERP and 3PL WMS
  • Follow up the inventory turnover to avoid non-usable products and make recommendations
  • Organize destructions with our Partner
  • Monitor stock level accordingly to the storage capacity of the warehouse
  • Maintain highest accuracy of the Product Master Data

PROFILE

· Min 8 years relevant hands-on experience in any of these areas: customer service, logistics and transport, export, supply chain management for FMCG orientated businesses.

· Autonomous & fast starter

· Hands-on and Reliable

· Organization ability

· High level of whole Supply Chain

· Team Spirit, open minded, flexible, and ready to work under pressure.

· Dynamic & Confident Communication Skills

· Strong ERP knowledge & MS360 suite knowledge is required

· Good Analytical Skills: accurate and at ease with figures

· Fluent in English & German other languages such as French, Italian, Spanish, Russian a strong plus
