Customer Support Specialist (80-100%)

As Customer Support Specialist you will be the first point of contact for customers and business partners for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) in the business unit "Electrification" in Baden (Switzerland). You report to the Head of Order Handling and support the sales team with your customer service skills in answering customer inquiries.

Your responsibilities

  • By coordinating with internal resources, you provide customers with effective solutions to their purchase order requests
  • You will monitor the status of orders and deliveries.
  • You will ensure that customer concerns are resolved, and you will intervene in a supportive manner when escalation is necessary.
  • You will ensure positive customer experiences, keep customers informed and resolve any ambiguities.
  • You will monitor the overall process and trends on enquiries and you will identify areas for improvement.
  • You will oversee our customers’ maintenance contracts through to billing.
  • You are responsible for invoicing orders and projects as well as repairs.
  • You communicate by phone as well as by e-mail with our customers and internal interfaces.

Your background

  • 5 years of professional experience in the field of order processing or in a similar function
  • Completed professional training with further education in the commercial field (e.g. HF or FH) an advantage
  • An agile and proactive approach, with a proven ability to take responsibility for customer issues
  • Experience in customer service
  • Confident in the use of SAP
  • A team player with a solution-oriented approach and very good written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken German as well as English and French, other languages an advantage
