Your role

We are looking for a Cyber & Information Security Strategy Analyst to support the internal transformation of the Cyber and Information Security (CIS) capabilities.

In this role, the individual will need to have the ability to:

  • provide expert input into the collective information security strategy to ensure that future security investments are aligned appropriately when considering key priorities such as business requirements, industry threat landscape, and risk appetite
  • maintain a catalogue and presentations of high level security capabilities and roadmaps for all assigned strategies
  • partner with subject matter experts across technology and cyber & information security teams to create messaging and engagement plans to drive adoption of their initiatives
  • facilitate in the priorities and strategic goals of the cyber & information security functions through evaluating and proactively formulating solution strategies
  • present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
  • exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
  • support large change initiatives enabled by new tools and technology, processes, and/or senior leadership priorities

Your team

You’ll support the cyber security team and work cross functionally to achieve the transformation goals. You’ll be reporting into the Cyber Defense & Strategy Principal Strategy leader with accountability for facilitating the strategy definition currently underway in the Cyber Defense and Strategy team, and delivering on a range of strategic planning and execution services.

Your expertise

  • 5+ years of Cyber & Information Security experience with focus on Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education
  • understanding of the information and cyber security space, with business mindset and strong communications skills
  • ideally have management consulting experience at a top-tier consulting firm
  • excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • ability to effectively assess stakeholder, partner, or client needs while consulting, building solutions, and developing processes
  • knowledge and understanding of strategic planning and execution activities
  • advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills, with focus on solid visual presentation
  • active listener with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to read complex customer situations and adapt as needed
  • independent thinker who brings initiative, creativity, energy, discipline and commitment to the role
