Job Description


We are looking for a senior data scientist to develop our Data Science pole. You will be part of the Quantitative Asset Management Department and your main contribution would be:

  • Participate actively to the development of our Data Science pole (3 persons for now)
  • Maintain, develop and build Machine Learning (ML) Algorithm for the Advisory (Recommender System applied to the Finance)
  • Build AI models to understand our clients’ behavior.
  • Lead and create interactions with the other departments of the bank to answer their questions by focusing on data.
  • Collaborate with the Quant Finance team to develop and boost the ML aspect of the quantitative strategies
  • Develop the interactions with the EPFL on ML subjects applied to the finance

Qualifications
  • A Master / PhD in [Computer Science, Data Science, Science]
  • Related or equivalent work experience, with a proven background in AIML, Quantitative Analysis, statistics, factor modeling, evidence based research etc.
  • Advanced Knowledge of Python and R is required
  • Proven experience of at least 3+ years in building Statistical or Machine Learning models
  • Proven experience of at least 3+ years in Data Science techniques like exploratory analysis, feature engineering and ML techniques like clustering, regressions, classifications etc.
  • Experience working in teams of analysts, data engineers, statisticians, and data scientists
  • Innovative mindset—thinks beyond the status quo
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with ability to work closely and communicate well within a highly skilled team, with a wide range of backgrounds and skillsets.
