Job Description

Data & Analytics has the assignment to create value and enable business movements by bringing data, competence and the right tools from across IKEA together. We are working closely with the business and product teams that deliver cutting edge, data driven solutions to the many IKEA customers and co-workers.

As a Data Sharing Leader in IKEA Supply, you will support the organisation in leveraging information and data. This you will do in many ways; by supporting teams in removing barriers hindering data sharing, by supporting data publishers and users in adopting sharing standards and by communicating and building understanding of the data landscape across IKEA. You will direct and proactively help product and project teams understand what data they need to fulfil their purpose and help them seamlessly access the right data assets. Making sure that the organisation can maximise the value of its data while adhering to the highest standards of ethics and privacy. You will collaborate closely with the Data & Analytics and Information Management team as well as with other stakeholders across the larger IKEA organisation.

You take your colleagues by the hand and you constructively guide and support them in ensuring access and usage of business critical data assets. You are regularly involved in activities and meetings with stakeholders to determine large and small opportunities where data sharing could help the organisation to better reach its goals and work in a more efficient way.

More specifically, in this role you will be accountable for:
  • Guide and facilitate data sharing and improve user experience on data usage within the wider IKEA organisation.
  • Lead the development and roll-out of data sharing practices across a complex organisation with multiple legal entities and privacy concerns.
  • Be a central point of contact and escalation within the IKEA data sharing community.
  • Drive continuous improvement, collaboration and knowledge sharing of data sharing practices, tools and assets across IKEA.
  • Help handling privacy and ethical concerns that may be connected with the sharing or processing of data.
  • Ensure consistency by supporting the use of relevant development techniques, digital frameworks, and best practices.
  • Keep up to date with the latest technology trends
In this role you will report to our Data & Analytics Manager in Data & Technology at IKEA Supply, working closely with the rest of the Data & Analytics teams across Inter IKEA Group.

We believe you have a track record from leadership and business development in complex organisations and experience from modern development techniques. You have solid knowledge of data and analytics products and experience of manoeuvring the data landscape of large organisations. Furthermore, you have experience from mixed environments with different integration patterns for different parts of the landscape and you’ve been successful in unlocking the power of data across large organizations through increased user experience and user self-sufficiency.
