DATABASE COORDINATOR

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?


On database management, you will be responsible for the quality of the technical architecture, dialogue of the systems and management of the platform to ensure the quality of the data on a long-term basis and specifically:

  • Ensuring the quality and consistency of the data
  • Ensuring the technical maintenance and technical architecture
  • Providing the technical documentation
  • Ensuring the training of the different stakeholders
  • Ensuring the interfaces with the other digital tools (i.e. Evaluation Tool, Homo Faber Guide, etc.)
  • Providing support to the communication and content team with respect to collected content (statistics, information…)

On the Homo Faber guide, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that the data collected is up to date
  • Managing the yearly updates in collaboration with Project Manager
  • Up until new indications, managing objects’ contents: writing objects descriptions and uploading information to database

On the Homo Faber, you will be responsible for:

Homo Faber Guide

  • Ensuring that the data collected is up to date
  • Managing the yearly updates in collaboration with Project Manager
  • Up until new indications, managing objects’ contents: writing objects descriptions and uploading information to database

Homo Faber Event

  • In charge of the e-collection catalogue information:
  • Act as a liaison between the different actors of the exhibitions and projects to ensure that all the information is constantly up to date in Geneva
  • Ensure a qualitative copywriting in English of the collected information
  • Integrate the contents to the relevant platforms

You will participate in the discussion and classification of the accreditation system


On the Object Collection, you will be responsible for:

  • Conservation of Michelangelo Collection (such as the works that MFO acquired via Homo Faber)
  • In charge of the logistics for any event and especially Homo Faber

On the Sustainability, you will be responsible for:

  • Corporate policy and strategy of the Foundation (including Homo Faber Event and the Foundation’s CSR chart and actions)
  • Management of the Green List from conception to launch and update
  • Identification of potential partners (key players)

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCESS WITH US?

To be successful Digital Manager, we will expect you to have the following skills:

  • 3 year minimum of experience in research and database management
  • Ability to conduct research, target relevant information, construct relevant architecture and evaluate data
  • Database management proficiency (Axiell or other collection/museum database)
  • Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge in art and design and interest in the métiers d’art
  • Fluent in English and/or in French, Italian is an asset
  • Interest in Sustainability is an asset
  • Team Player
