EMEA Recruitment is working exclusively with an international manufacturing company, a true leader in its field, in its search for a German Speaking Accounting Manager. Due to restructure following recent expansion, we are seeking an Accounting Manager for their operations based in Rapperswil.

Salary 105,000 - 125,000 CHF

Alongside accounting functions (IFRS & Swiss GAAP) and managing the small accounting team we’re looking for someone to assist with the implementation of the new ERP system and to assist with the transfer of finance functions to an oversees shared services centre.

This is a great long term interim position offering the potential for a permanent FP&A role.

Accounting Manager – 12 Month Contract – Rapperswil

Reporting to the Head of Finance and Controlling, this fixed term role will provide accounting assistance for the manufacturing and commercial entities.

Our client is looking for a mature and flexible candidate with clear communication and leadership ability to assist with the financial management of the business.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:

• As Accounting Manager your role is varied and exciting. Managing a small team of two (AP & AR) you will focus on inventory, working capital, liquidity, CAPEX, and operating cash flow for reporting and forecasting. Knowledge of IFRS and Swiss GAAP.

• Cash Pooling and Intercompany reconciliation also come under your remit.

• As part of the transition phase of the company you will assist with the implementation of the new ERP system to Microsoft Dynamix 365

• Assisting with the transfer of corporate accounting functions to the new oversees shared services function.

• After this transition phase, your contract may evolve into a permanent FP&A position.

Ideal profile:

• Accounting/Finance degree

• Experience gained as an Accounting Team Leader or Manager, experienced with IFRS and Swiss GAAP.

•Strong MS Office knowledge, particularly Excel

•Business German language skills are ESSENTIAL

• Proactive communicator – able to reach out to other entities for information and approval

• Mature and flexible with clear leadership ability
