Associate Customer Product Manager (80-100%)What you will do
In this newly created role you are the main liaison for coordinating and driving our PB partner products with internal and external stakeholders such as client supporting teams, Tecan`s R&D, sales teams, operations, and regulatory/compliance from product development to end-of-life of a product. You will manage and facilitate the trade-offs between client business demands, product life cycle stage, and Tecan business needs to create most possible and plausible win/win positions for involved parties.
Responsibilities will include
- Key contact towards PB customers for assigned projects and products for day-to-day lifecycle and operational aspects
- Drive customer satisfaction and support Tecan’s PB marketing, financial and growth objectives through Operational excellence, Pro-active Life Cycle Management and project support during the development of assigned products
- Maintain overview on budget, key performance indicators, sales and forecast of accounts
- Be the client spoke-person and representative during the product development phase for our R&D and cross-discipline contributors; ensure agreed product scope and project content are executed per contractual agreements
- Make sure all relevant product documentation throughout the product lifetime fulfil Tecan’s and the clients documentation needs, and meet applicable quality and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate the management of customer complaints and reportable events with the complaint unit e.g. out of box failures, near incidents.
- Trigger follow-on products, trainings or projects for clients where deemed applicable and profitable towards prosperous long-term client- and product partnership
- Monitor contract expirations, obligations and drive necessary actions in cooperation with key stakeholders across needed organization
What you bring along
- University Degree (BA or MA) in Chemistry, Biology, Medicine or Engineering
- Working experience in Product/Lifecycle management, ideally in regulated environment (FDA, IVD), would be beneficial
- At least 2 years of professional experience in client management
- Excellent English skills is a must, German or any other language would be beneficial
- Natural authority (charisma) and power of persuasion
- Team-oriented entrepreneurial thinking character with can-do attitude
- Strong reliability, accountability, and self-motivation
- Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
