What you will do
In this challenging and important role you will provide global support for our Liquid Handling solutions in life science and clinical diagnostic. Furthermore you will develop, prepare and deliver product training to internal and external customers.


Responsibilities will include

  • Coordinate and provide in depth technical troubleshooting and investigation of problems associated to software, hardware and application, mainly remotely using remote access technologies but also onsite as needed.
  • Create and maintain content for global solution database
  • Active participation in quality and risk investigations
  • Active participation in product care team activities.
  • Autonomous communication with global service organization
  • Administrative tasks in SAP
  • Monitors product quality and makes sure that product care teams initiate continuous product improvements
  • Develop, plan and conduct product training courses for customers, Tecan employees and distributors

What you bring along

  • PhD or MS degree in Science or Biomedical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in laboratory and application with emphasis in a role supporting automation instruments in medical, pharmaceutical, clinical diagnostic desired.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with remote access technologies is desired
  • Knowledge in the field of genomics and NGS would be beneficial
  • Programming skills would be beneficial
  • Fluent German and English; other languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel worldwide (10-20%)
