Credit Specialist – Multinational Bank in Switzerland

We are currently assisting one of the world’s leading financial institutions in their search for a Credit Specialist in the processing team on a contract for 8 months with possibility of extension, who is immediately available. They process credit products for the business areas in Switzerland. Furthermore, there are three different location possibilities such as Zürich, Biel and Lugano.

The key responsibilities are

• Independently drafting credit agreements with the necessary credit documents Detect Market abuse behaviours
• Mapping and managing credit constructions and collateral in the bank’s own IT systems Assist in reviewing suspicious activities
• Drafting promises to pay and executing payments
• Correspondence and dialogue with land registry offices, notaries, banks and insurance companies
• Order-related contact with client advisors and credit officers
  

Required Skills

• University degree or equivalent education in a similar field
• 1-2 years’ experience in notary and land register law
• Expert understanding of mortgage processing
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Exposure to internal tools related to surveillance
• Diligent work approach with respect for our risk and control obligations
• Fluency in German and English is a must (French would be a plus for the location in Biel)
