As an Electrical Engineer, you will be completing assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects, cost-efficiently and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.

This position is reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Your responsibilities
  • Overseeing the detailed set-up of rectifiers, AC converters, transformers, harmonic filters and power networks
  • Analyzing, planning, optimizing and simulating electrical power networks for industrial plants
  • Analyzing electrical power networks thoroughly and conducting grid studies and measurements
  • Carrying out short circuit calculations and developing grounding concepts
  • Advising on and performing simulations
  • Managing or performing system or component acceptance test at suppliers or on customer site as well as in our manufacturing locations
  • Performing reference measurement, guaranteeing measurement on site, developing and updating computational programs, and providing sales support in the tendering phase
  • Generating protection studies and protection settings
Your background
  • Demonstrable work experience in the field of Power Electronics is considered advantageous
  • Expertise in developing high current or high voltage power electronic converters
  • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and a desire to learn about new technologies and developing solutions for customer challenges
  • Sound knowledge in using Matlab/Simulink, PLECS, PSCAD and NEPLAN or similar software
  • A collaborative approach to working, demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering with advanced studies in Power Electronics
  • Fluency in English
  • Willingness to travel (10-20%)
