Tasks

For the next expansion step, 3Brain is looking for a full-time electronics engineer to reinforce our R&D team. You will help develop embedded systems for high-speed data acquisition devices including system engineering, schematics design and layout, testing and verification. You will also contribute to the current device production line, including tasks such as automation, production testing and optimization.

In particular, your tasks involve:
  • Creating high-speed embedded systems and architectures for products based on high-resolution microelectrode arrays
  • Design and implement hardware systems and sub-systems (PCBs), including high-speed ADCs, microcontrollers and FPGA-SoMs, power supplies, etc.
  • Software programming of FPGA-based hardware accelerators (in C/C++)
  • Design firmware to operate and control peripheries and sub-systems with Microcontrollers
  • Testing, measuring, characterization and validation of electronic systems
  • Design and development of production-test-tools
  • Expert support of the electronics production team
Requirements
  • BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimumof 2 years of professional experience
  • Analog electronics (Simulation, Schematics, Layout)
  • High-speed digital design (Schematics, Layout)
  • Good practical and industrial experience
  • Prototyping and testing
  • Good background in signal processing
  • Fluency in English
  • Initiative, independence and ability to communicate and work effectively with other team members in a multicultural and international environment
