Heath Safety & Environment (HS&E) Manager

Location: Geneva headquarters, Switzerland

To complete our Heath Safety & Environment (HS&E) team, and to support our divisions on their journey towards HSE excellence, we are currently looking for a HS&E Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Be the HS&E expert for plants and laboratories

Translate the HSE Global Strategy into local roadmaps

Provide HS&E input for problem resolution and pro-active guidance, helping to support and maintain company standards

Drive Continuous Improvement based on Firmenich HSH&E Global Strategy, HS&E Global management Principles & Codes, including data analytics, new business requirements, new/updated regulations and employees’ input

Build effective relationship, coach, influence and support stakeholders at all levels within the organization to strengthen HSE Culture and drive HS&E Excellence

Drive and Monitor site performance to meet or exceed all HS Targets and/or our ambitious Environmental goals

Maintain our ISO certifications14001 and 45001 as well as any new required relevant certifications

Key Requirements:
Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Management Degree with indicative professional qualification (SUVA, NEBOSH or equivalent), Safety Engineer (swiss qualification) is a plus

Proven track record in Environmental projects

+10% years’ HS&E/OH&S experience working, in Flavors & Fragrances, Pharma, Chemical or Food Industry is a must

Demonstrated skills and experience in health, safety and environmental management

Strong and proactive communicator

Knowledgeable and well-versed in ISO 14001 and 45001, 50001 is an asset

Ability to think both strategically and plan ahead, but also be hands-on

Fluent in English (C1) and in French (C2)
