Key Responsibilities:

Provide training and development opportunities to all team members
Provide best-in-class resource experts on all relevant topics (Creation, Analytical, Food design)
Provide Expertise to Program Leaders to develop and launch innovative, creative and cost-effective solutions to meet untapped market needs and assure the success of both Firmenich and our clients alike in Savory Foods
Provide ad hoc expertise support to Regions for high value ( >10M CHF) sophisticated SAV briefs
Must dedicate a pre-agreed sharing of resources for innovation related launch trainings
Ensure company’s innovation project management best practices are applied, aiming for continuous improvement of effectiveness and efficiency
Ensure close collaboration and alignment with peers
Provide input for the required tools to the Strategy team
Ensure alignment and thorough understanding of Savory Food needs with support divisions necessary for innovation (regulatory, patents, PI, M-TEC, purchasing, etc).
Must create a forward look of the required expertise and ensure FL Division will be able to find / source them

We value:

University degree in Science or Engineering, preferably a Ph.D., in Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Flavor Technology or Food Science
+ 10 years of relevant working experience in the savory industry, preferably in the Flavor or Food industry
Strong flavor expertise in general, in depth understanding of taste interactions, flavor technology and regulatory environment within and beyond Flavors
Background in data science and modeling expertise
Solid understanding of the general flavor regulatory environment
Strong customers relationship experience
Experience in project management, rigorous, with a strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate cross-functional communication, autonomous, with strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to take initiative
