What you will do
In this challenging and important role, you ensure the best possible outcome for Tecan of negotiations of major commercial agreements.


Responsibilities will include

  • Lead the negotiations of major, multimillion or complex commercial agreements mainly in the areas of Partnering Business sales and development contracts, LSB sales contracts and procurement contracts
  • Ensure a broad understanding of key contractual stakeholders on contract content and contract negotiation skills
  • Define the negotiation tactics, the negotiation process and take the lead in the face to face discussions with the contractual counterparties and their procurement, sales, negotiator, legal and other functions
  • Closely work together with key stakeholders of Tecan in Switzerland and abroad relating to contracts, such as sales and procurement managers, business unit managers, legal counsels, R&D and Quality & Regulatory functions
  • Acts towards the representative of the contractual counterparts as credible, trustworthy, competent, solution and customer oriented and empowered representative of Tecan
  • Define, implement, and maintain a trainings concept and trainings contents and conducts trainings for contract stakeholders in the organization with respect to negotiation skills, processes, tactic and possibly contents
