Part of Leonardo (through its Helicopter division), Kopter is set to become a Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies; also contributing to the development of new hybrid and electrical propulsion systems. The single-engine, turbine-powered AW09 now under development will outperform its peers with increased modularity, modern electronic systems, and a larger cabin and cargo hold. The AW09 delivers latest safety standards, more performance and comfort at low operating costs. Kopter’s 320 talented team members are primarily based near Zurich, Switzerland – with corporate/engineering offices at Wetzikon, and the production facilities in the towns of Mollis and Näfels.

Your Responsibilities

The function is a part of Product Quality Department and is responsible to deal with supplier product quality, to manage supplier product non-conformance and take actions to improve the quality of supplier parts delivered to Kopter Group.

Tasks
  • Check the products and conformity with drawing and Kopter Technical Data Sheet
  • Check the supplier quality documentation in accordance with Product Quality Criteria and Kopter Purchase Order
  • Execution and managing the supplier quality notification
  • Initiate and manage the Root Cause Analysis with Kopter supplier
  • Review and approval FAIR (EN 9102)
  • Manage quality product issue on supplier parts in concurrence with Manufacturing Engineering and Design Office
  • Perform Source Inspection on Supplier Site – Willingness to travel approx. 20%
Your qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in the aerospace industry in Quality Management field
  • First Article Inspection (FAIR – EN 9102) and conformance inspection experience
  • Knowledge of EASA Part-21 & -145 nice to have
  • Experience in coordinating measuring machining and equipment
  • Knowledge of EN 10204 & 17025
  • Knowledge of SAP in particular in the modules QM and MM
  • English written and oral (mandatory)
  • German written and oral
