For our Quality Department at the company headquarters in Cham, we are looking for a highly motivated

Project Quality Engineer (PQE).

In this role you will be supporting projects by using state of the art quality management methods, techniques, and tools to ensure high-quality product, system or solution is delivered every time.

Your core accountabilities:

• Responsible for setting-up and delivering the Project Quality Plan (PQP) including a flawless PPAP
• Simulate worst case conditions, trying to make the deliverables fail, or apply “negative test”
• Identify the weak points and risks during the development phase of the product
• Rank the maturity of the project and product in terms of Quality (PQE will not be overruled by PjM)
• Assist the Global Quality Systems function in Local Business Continuity and Integratet Management Systems activities (BCMS/IMS) and audits
  
  

Your KPI Objectives:

• Deliver a flawless PPAP (no failure, no open actions, nothing out of specification)
• Provide rapid, objective, uncompromising feedback and escalation of concerns to appropriate stakeholders
  
  

Additional your responsibilities will among others include:

• Actively support Product Development Process (PDP) in the disciplines of Software, Firmware and Harware and challenge the content of the artifacts, by trying to explore deficiencies and weaknesses
• Take care that the processes described in the Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and Process House are followed
• Act as a partner to Project Management and Project Team(-s) to co-operate on development operations related matters, ensure high quality of output, and provide full and transparent reporting on project quality status
• Work on project quality deliverables starting with Project Quality Plan compilation and follow-through in execution by conducting P-Gate reviews, plus leading the PPAP activities
• Driving the risk identification and mitigation by facilitating the System-, Design- and Process-FMEAs,
• Ensure that a complete test strategy is developed, tests are performed, reports are reviewed against the project requirements for a particular device, firmware, or software product (in line with V-model or equivalent requirement traceability framework)
• Providing guidance for technical, legal, and regulatory compliance; leading environmental compliance assurance within the project
• Inspect the deliverables of other functions for each planned PDP gate, and disseminate lessons learned and best practices amongst different project teams and stakeholder groups
• Lead the problem-solving techniques, CRMs, CAPAs and continuous improvement projects
• Report and escalate project quality issues to appropriate management levels
• Effectively deliver internal and external PPAPs in partnership with the Project Manager, R&D, SQE and NPI functions
  
  

Expectations for skills & experience:

• Required minimum years of experience: 3
• Tracked record on project or production quality role in a company which is ISO 9001 certified
• Well experienced in quality tools and methods, and their application (FMEA, DMAIC, 6-Sigma, risk management, APQP, PPAP, requirement traceability via V-model or robust alternative)
• Experience in Hardware, embedded Software (Firmware), and device development for industrial systems. Software experience is an advantage.
• Experience in driving continuous improvement activities, delivering robust business processes, and product quality
• Experienced in root cause analysis, problem solving techniques, implementing corrective and especially preventive measures
• Experience developing and employing Quality standards and best practices
• Ability to work autonomously as well as within the team, lead cross-functionally and communicate across the organization with ability to adapt to different cultures, personalities, and styles
