To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking for a Qualification & Project Manager (f/m/d)located in Wettingen.

In your new role you will:
  • Coordinate qualification activities for our NPP (nuclear power plant) projects with suppliers and laboratories.
  • Plan the scope of qualification (seismic, EMC, environmental, radiation and vibration) together with the Engineering department and R&D Experts.
  • Define and maintain processes relevant for system qualification and support the teams by quantifying the qualification effort.
  • Be responsible for the integration of the qualification activities including documentation within the Project Schedule.
  • Be responsible for managing complex projects in the Nuclear Business area - from planning and implementation to customer approval.
  • Take over the management of various projects (including both large projects in individual companies as well as multi-country companies) and continuously monitor the progress of the project.
  • Be responsible for the compliance with the cost budget, the schedule as well as the management of supply, costs, resources, quality, and risks as part of your daily tasks.
  • Act as a mentor within the Solution Center Project Management team, making an important contribution to the project manager community at Schneider Electric.

Your profile:
  • You have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in electrical engineering, automation technology, industrial engineering, or comparable practical qualifications.
  • You have got professional experience with the implementation of nuclear business projects in an international environment and are familiar with standards like IEEE 650 relevant for qualification activities - ideally you also convince with UPS knowledge.
  • Also, you have proven and applied knowledge in international project management and intercultural project teams.
  • You bring a strong team-player-mindset and the willingness to build good working relationships with all associated departments and stakeholders
  • Your fluent written and spoken English are the basis for your work in international teams.
