• MSc student in the fields of physics, computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar (FH / TU / ETH)
• Good programming skills in Python
• Good understanding and enjoyment of algorithms, modeling and signal processing, object-oriented programming
• Founded knowledge of physical and mathematical contexts
• Experience with platforms for data analytics in the cloud is an advantage (e.g. JupyterLab, Databricks, PySpark)

Your Responsibilities Sensirion offers you many exciting challenges every day and a comprehensive insight into the development of our new IoT solutions so that our customers can reduce their emissions of greenhouse gases such as methane gas. Our products consist of autonomous devices with solar cells, sensors, connectivity, cloud and algorithms. Join the core team for the Nubo Air and Nubo Sphere products to advance such exciting solutions and successfully establish them in the market. Your future supervisor, Patrick (Algorithm Engineer) tells you what to expect in the internship.What are the specific tasks? As an intern in the field of algorithms, you will develop and test new algorithms based on complex physical and mathematical models in an agile team. In doing so, you will mainly use Python and various cloud tools, which ultimately run the algorithms for the customers. Because the algorithms strongly depend on the application, sensor signals and customer expectations, you maintain a lively exchange with your colleagues from development and sales.What are the daily challenges? We operate in a new and rapidly developing market, where the time between product idea and market launch is less than a year. Therefore, we have to react quickly to changes and be open to new things. This requires a pragmatic approach and a willingness to leave out the unimportant. In addition, you have to be able to familiarize yourself with new topics quickly.What are the daily challenges?
