Hitachi Energy Medium Voltage Surge Arresters are found in a fast growing number of applications worldwide.To develop this potential we need to grow our sales team to support our local sales and customers.We are therefore looking for a dynamic and result-oriented individual to join our team as a Sales Specialist and to further strengthen our footprint in the market.   • Responsible for the sales and promotion of Medium
  • Voltage Surge Arresters in allocated markets and countries
  • Develop and implement efficient sales strategies to reach sales targets and acquire new customers
  • Active cultivation and development of local business relationships with Hitachi Energy local sales teams and customers
  • Complete market analysis for the area (e.g. trends, volumes, competitors and shares) and provide technical and commercial sales support
  • Identify and follow-up new markets/applications and potential customers Report on a regular basis sales activities, forecast, new opportunities and competive landscape
Your background
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Understanding of marketing and sales aspects
  • Good knowledge of HV/MV technologies
  • Fluent in English, other languages on negotiation level are of advantage - at least conversational Knowledge of German is an advantage
  • Willing to travel (20-30%) to meet and support Hitachi
  • Energy sales teams and customers (globally)
  • Self-motivated and proactive personality
  • Results driven, focused on winning orders to achieve budget objectives in respect of order volumes and profitability
  • A team player with intercultural sensitivity and excellent social skills as well as good organizational skills
