Tasks

Job Description

3Brain is looking for a talented full-time Scientific Marketing Specialist to drive the planning and development of effective communication and to support content production. Main responsibilities:
  • Lead the creation of technical content writing for promotional materials such as application notes, protocol guides, white papers, brochures, and other scientific marketing materials.
  • Support the company’s digital communications with the development of content to feed the company press releases, website, emails, and social media channels.
  • Design and implement marketing strategy to support KOL network identification and development.
  • Generate leads to feed the sales funnel by performing online research through websites and scientific publications.
  • Attend virtual and/or physical scientific sessions at major tradeshows (travel up to 20% after COVID-19) to capture and disseminate through oral talks and presentations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant literature and competitive landscape and summarize for communication with sales.
  • Assisting the creative team with the design of promotional materials.
Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Scientific education with a PhD degree in life sciences, preferably with a focus on neurobiology and molecular biology.
  • Impeccable spelling and grammar, ability to write in a variety of prose styles, including writing for the web
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate scientific content to a range of audience
  • Strategic and creative thinker with a good sense of visual communication
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be flexible enough to change priorities with short notice when necessary
  • Ability to succeed in a rapidly changing, agile environment where continuous innovation is requisite to success
Additional Qualifications
  • Prior experience writing for scientific publications/media or other experience in communicating and presenting science
  • Laboratory experience in neurobiology and, preferably, in electrophysiology.
  • 1+ years of experience in an industry marketing or commercial role
