Senior Inside Sales & Digital Customer Engagement Rep Switzerland

What you will do

In this challenging and important role, you are an office-based Sales Rep selling to and engaging with customers remotely (“Sales Rep without a car”). You achieve sales targets by territory / account planning and funnel / opportunity management. You will implement the company’s activities around Digital Customer Engagement in the territory as well as continuously increase personal efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities will include

• Deliver agreed order entry and sales plans / budgets
• Actively implement global growth strategy for Tecan’s product portfolio ensuring alignment with global strategy
• Responsible for allocated accounts pertaining to selling consumables and service contracts in the short term and small instruments in the longer term
• Responsible to implement European initiatives on Digital Customer engagement in assigned territory
• Issue quotations, product information and correspondence in line with Tecan’s policies and procedures
• Effectively prioritize workload between routine activities, projects and campaigns

What you bring along

• Degree in Life Science or MedTech; additional degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent is a plus
• At least 3 years sales experience in European life sciences or laboratory diagnostics market, including budget responsibility
• Previous tele sales experience is beneficial
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, effective communicator, customer-oriented, ability to work independently but also a team player
• Fluent English / German / English language skills, another major European language would be of advantage
