Senior Project Engineer

Location: Geneva headquarters, Switzerland

Key Responsibilities

Delivery of end-to-end project management of medium/large capital projects

Coordination of weekly project team meetings

Managing risks by anticipating bottlenecks, managing priorities, making trade-offs, and balancing business needs versus constraints

Making sure there is a good flow of communication within the project team

Arranging FAT inspections of appropriate purchased equipment and instrumentation prior to delivery when required

Managing all vendors and contractors, from conceptual design to construction

Preparation and presentation of the project KPIs and status to steering committee

Organizing commissioning before final handover to the project owner

We value

MA degree in mechanical, chemical, industrial or process engineering

> 5 years’ experience in fragrance, flavors & fine chemicals industry

Experience in Automated Logistics technologies (with automated guide vehicles)

Experience with some automated unit fully integrated with ERP (slave - maître function)

Experience in Project Management of small to large capital projects (+2 million CHF), both in a direct implementation role as Project Engineer and as Project Manager

Certified in project management (PMP, Prince2) and/or continuous improvement (6Sigma LEAN certification) an asset

Experience in working within an international environment

Leadership skills with ability to build relationship

French and English fluent
