Scintilla AG is responsible for the global development, manufacturing, marketing and coordination of distribution of accessories for power tools for the trades, for industrial applications and for DIY.
Job Description
- Ensure high service level by availability of goods at optimal inventory levels with maintaining good forecast accuracy and low forecast bias
- Cross functional interface between Sales organization and logistics organization to include changes in demand into the supply chain forecast
- Use and maintain demand planning software
- Manage the demand forecasting process (operational forecasts as well as market intelligence, event planning, promotional planning, range extensions, new listings)
- Coordinate the S&OP for the region and portfolio & Interact with sales and marketing to understand demand forecast drivers
- Analysing portfolio planning and demand patterns (base line sales, seasonality, Business Plan assumptions)
- Planning responsibility for warehouses (LDCs), stock replenishment and supply network planning
- Planning of product launches (phase in management) and discontinuation of products (phase out management)
- Tracking of service level and securing perfect stock availability for country of responsibility
- Inventory management and overstock management, including portfolio clean up, overstock reduction and scrapping procedure
- Close cooperation with production planners and 3rd party suppliers planners, regards stock availability
- KPI tracking and improvement (service, inventory, forecast accuracy, supply chain cost)
- Minimum bachelor’s degree (preferably in supply chain area)
- Background in Demand Planning and Supply Chain/Logistics – minimum 3-4 years’ experience
- Very good numerical and analytical skills (Microsoft Excel experience is essential)
- Analytical and logical thinking
- High level communication to multiple stakeholders
- Ability to resolve problems
- Prioritization & time management
- Attention to detail, with high level of accuracy
- Team player who takes a flexible approach to the role within the team and works effectively with a variety of different groups, employees and managers
